Realme is set to launch the Watch S series and Buds Air Pro Master Edition in India on December 23. The company has teased the new products across social media as well as on its own website and Flipkart, with product images and key specifications revealed. While the earphones appear to be a special edition of the Realme Buds Air Pro that was recently launched, the Watch S series is a fresh launch for India, following the Realme Watch which was launched earlier this year. The product reveals come through setup advertisements and marketing posters featuring actor Shraddha Kapoor, who has been a brand ambassador for Realme since earlier this year.

The first one is the large AMOLED display that will be there on the smartwatch. By the looks of it, the display does look big, at least bigger than what some smartwatches in the under Rs 15,000 segment. Moreover, the new circular dial is more conventional and a step-up from the last-generation Realme Watch that has a square dial. The AMOLED material is also something that will appeal to customers. A separate teaser on the Realme website has revealed the display is 1.39-inch in size having a resolution of 454×454 pixels and 326PPI pixel density. It supports a maximum brightness of 450 nits.

The next feature is the Always-on Display, which is quite important for smartwatches to have. Apple took one year to implement the Always-On Display on its Apple Watch Series, considering only the flagship models. This year the Apple Watch SE, which is touted as the affordable smartwatch for iPhone users, lacks the Always-On Display. Anyway, it is a good thing Realme Watch S Pro will have the display always on in case you want to glance at the time. The Always-On Display feature can be customized to offer several notifications right there on the screen but I am not sure what Realme has gone with.

The third feature that Sheth has teased is the stainless steel case that will likely impart sturdiness to the smartwatch, as well as take care of the aesthetics of it. Realme Watch S Pro is a decent watch offering features like 11 sports modes, supports an Optical heart rate sensor, six-axis sensor, compass, barometer, long battery life, and good performance. Some of the special features include a fingerprint sensor and fast charging. However, its price is a downside that you can consider.
Realme Watch S Pro is an emerging successor to its predecessors with some upgraded bonus. Supposed to be ranged at a premium tag, the watch will be providing convincing features from the latest operating system to adequate life for up to 14 days, making it to the wish list of many customers. Additionally, the sleek design approach when paired with the splendid 5 ATM water resistance setup, make it a price worthy device. However, in my personal view, I do think the price of the watch is high. But the performance of this watch is excellent so you can ignore the price for a while and this is available in many colors from which you can select the best one for you.
