Hyundai introduced new model ‘Venue’, as the demand for SUVs has increased. To fulfil the needs of Indian buyer, Hyundai Venue Review will reveal about Hyundai’s new offering, and all answers to those questions. The product quality is revealed in the road drive test experienced for Hyundai Venue Review.

Description over Design and style:

Well, the new model ‘Venue’ has been designed with the same set of other Hyundai model’s designing language, and we will discuss it in Hyundai Venue Review. The model has received basic design indication which is clean and catchy details like other models. The new model Venue has distinguished sections, for instance: there is a chrome grille, which is bold, but the new headlamp is positioned in the bumpers, which is encircled by bright DRLs. The latter will be designed on other models as well, and with time it will be a term that we will get used to. With the measurement of dimensions and proportions, it comes out as a compact car, but also it has a muscular styling that keep up stance and tough look. The model has roof rails, alloy wheels, and designed rear makes the model look like a premium SUV.
As the exterior has remarkably stroked the designing language, the interior has been meticulously refreshed, and brought in line with the standards of current Hyundai. The interior is designed with all-black themes, which might not brighten the cabin, but will definitely protect the cabin from getting dirty in the long run. The dashboard consists of air-con vents and touchscreen music system with Arkamys tablet alike. The appearance presents itself with the typical similarity of Hyundai base. The seats are designed with broad and nice accommodation of under-thigh support. The visibility looks good as well in the cabin. The three occupants in the rear seats might to overlap in order to adjust properly, and their shoulder might rub each other as well. But the headroom and legroom is provided with enough space to sit comfortably in the cabin. The door pockets are designed with big space, but only water bottles can fit there, but they are accounted for front seats’ back pockets. Even if there is limited knee room, there is generous space. The rear seats are designed with split type fold arrangement to add various kind of baggage in case the large 350 litre does not satisfy one’s needed demands.

What about safety equipments: Hyundai Venue Review

What could be more important than describing about safety equipments provided in Hyundai Venue Review. Let’s start from the entry level base trim, which has dual front airbags, rear parking sensors, seat belt reminders, and ABS are standard protocol comes in the model ‘Venue’. The top spec trims of the model is loaded with features like automatic projector headlights, DRLs, key-less entry, a sunroof, automatic climate control, push button stop/start, and fog lamps. There is also a rear camera attached to 8.0 touchscreen infotainment system, which has Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. This model also offers wireless charging dock, air purifier, and fast charging USB, which makes the ‘Venue’ different from its rivals. With so many features, the highlight point goes to the blue link connectivity technology, which consists of 33 features that spread the vehicle management, security, safety, AI based input language, location based services, remote access, and alert services. It also uses the fixed Vodafone-Idea SIM card for connectivity system.

Hyundai Venue Review about engine and performance: Hyundai Venue Review

The Hyundai model ‘Venue’ has three engine options. First one is entry-level 1.2 litre petrol with 115Nm and 82 bhp of torque output. In contrast, high tech 1.0 litre, three cylinder and direct injection turbo petrol that generates 172Nm and 115bhp of torque. And next come up the most recommended in Indian market. It has 1.4 litre four cylinder motor, which utilizes 220 Nm and 89 bhp of torque. You also get a choice of 3 various kinds of gearboxes in which 1.0 turbo petrol is the powerful one, and that will be offered seven speed dual clutch auto and six speed manual. Whereas the 1.2 petrol is provided with 1.4 diesel mated to six speed manual and five speed manual. For Hyundai Venue Review, we tested 1.0 litre turbocharged petrol mill, which is considered as powerful with car weight of about 1,140, a little over a ton. While test, we experienced that it is smooth, quite, and has a sporty enthusiasm, when revived. The experience was quick with 0 to 100 kmph sprint, which was achieved in 11.49 seconds. It gets even faster with second wind post 2,000 rpm, when pulled from low running speed like 1,500rpm. If it runs to 6,500 rpm, the power build up strike off after 5,500 rpm, which indicates that top-end is not that strong. However, it works better to push slowly by the traffic, and it is good enough to keep the momentum without changing the gears. The test indicated that the model 20 to 80 kmph in third gear runs consumes 11.85 seconds and fourth gear 40 to 100 kmph sprint took 13.75 seconds. The six speed transmission available in the model manages the torque well. This one (gearbox) specializes short throws, slots and gear shifts are light to use as well. The clutch completes with perfect weight and helps to ease things while driving in the city traffic.
The diesel is not quite as much the petrol system is, but it is defined by segment standards. The system weighs about 1,250 kg and still it will not feel underpowered. The system does not feel as turbo petrol, but provides satisfied performance to drive in the city, and with above mentioned torque, it feels smooth on highway as well. It keeps the run up between 2000 rpm to 3000 rpm, and the performance of the engine revs with gusto. The car has remarkable cruising capabilities, as it meets the power band with precise expectation. There is triple digit speed that feels like a breeze while maintaining and attaining. It attained 0 to 100 kmph under 12.87 seconds, and 40 to 100 kmph under 14.05 seconds. Well, it kind of brightened in the gear acceleration from 20 to 80 kmph, as it hit the run under 10.29 seconds, which shows the remarkable driving capability.

How is the ride and handling system?

The Hyundai Venue Review will also reveal about the question regarding ride and handling system. The pot holes can be bothersome fact at low speed, as the suspension is stiffer in the car system. But with the help of high profile tyres, the noise kind of gets blocked in the cabin. At high speeds you will be able to experience a comfortable ride, which implies that the big undulations will inspire the vertical movement. The body control of the car system is quite impressive on tighter corners with the help of suspensions. It functions the side to side movement of passengers better and feel ease on bad roads. The mode ‘Venue’ surely an easy to drive SUV. The turning circle of the system is tight, and the steering is light, which makes it a pleasure to utilize in the city. It cannot be considered as the best feel of using steering, but it managed to self centre at low speeds, and at higher speeds, it buckles up. The brake system might let you feel that it could have been better, but will still manages despite the tad load. The conclusion can be said as, the SUV easy to control like a hatchback.

What about price and fuel economy?

The ex-showroom prices for the new model Hyundai Venue starts from Rs. 6.50 lakhs for petrol version, and for range topping automatic variant, it goes up to 11.10 lakhs. This indicates that the road price bracket starts from 7.5 to 13 lakhs, which can be considered as competitive in comparison to other rivals. The turbo petrol manual is known as explosive with its power and price as well, as it is 12.53 lakhs at retail. However, while Hyundai Venue Review, it felt like it could have been more fuel efficient, as it covered 12.3 kmpl on the highway route test cycle and covered 10.41 kmpl in the city. The complication free diesel mill has an adequate performance rate is considered as frugal one, as it covered 15.26 kmpl to the city run and covered the highway at 19.46 kmpl.
Conclusion: it should be said Hyundai Venue Review that Hyundai has introduced an overall package in ‘Venue’, as it has been designed with impressive looks, cabin features, and exterior designing. In addition, it provides remarkable ride quality, nice drivability, and especially is a compact footprint, not like the other models of bigger SUV. The ‘Venue’ is undoubtedly recommended even the price gets higher. Well, what does not comes at a price. With Hyundai Venue Review, it can be said that with it features, it is impressive.
